Dear Diary I am back. Somehow the website didn't allow me to log in on sunday. Yesterday was crazy for me...was not feeling well, so was sleeping all the time. Today I am back to work as well as studies. Hey guys I just got kaplan lecture notes from a friend, but they are 2002. I am not sure whether it will work or not. But like some of the subjects don't change much. I need to figure out whether I will like to use them or not. Today I will read patho RR, immunopatho and water - electrolyte balance.

Hi, Edie here, congrats on making a journal Unlike most here, I don't use Kaplan notes, except the Biochemistry set--EXCELLENT,bar none--so, you should try and find a more recent set. Go over to usmleforum.com and look them up there, or run a search here as well, they are avail for DL, at least 2004 edition. Now, I know the KLN notes are all good, but I am not to keen on reading on my laptop, and am too cheap to plop down a couple hundred USD on eBay for my own set Besides, UW has been taking all my money, anyway Happy studying!

hey medocuk, I am doing ok, not getting any speed. It seems first read will take forever. It looks like it will take me ages to read RR pathology. I hope I don't get all lost in it. I like the Goljan audio, wish I could only hear that and ace this exam. I wish to start some other subject simultaneously, because I may end up exausted with RR. Anyway, today I will read genetic and developmental disorders.

Hmm...its quite interesting topic but I think I need to start writing the stuff, just to make sure that I remember it well.

Hi WML, thanks for visiting my journal Yes, writing helps. You can possibly get by with just listening to Goljan, but I wouldn't recommend that. Try this: just read the hi-yields in the RR Path margins, the charts and boxes, and see if it helps? Don't worry about your speed. Take the time you need

Wishmeluck..by setting some tangible limits..like i needed 6 days to do Biochem..But I switched after 6 days..so when u know no matter what u will have to switch you tend to fight it out a lil..I hope that helps..Like Edie says dont worry too much about just keep it..momentum builds up in time.

Thank you guys...I was not feeling well. Got a very bad cold and sore throat. I feel like my body needed some rest after the finishing 18 credits last qurter. I should have taken some break. I reallly couldn't study at all. I need to get back on the track. I am feeling bad about that. Edie, I will follow your advice. I will try to read RR side by side and use those highlighted points and charts. medocuk, thank you very much for the encouragement. I need it so badly now.

Thank you very much medocuk! I am feeling good now and am back in study mode. I am listening to Goljan again. It feels good to listen him again, I think his voice encourages me to get back on track.

Thank you very much focususmle. Yes, I am going to stick to Goljan today. Listening to the inflammation clips. I will do inflammation and then will read RR. I am also planning to finish fluids and haemodynamics tonight.

Hey thank you shwehope. Just back from work....my big recruitment day. Today I will read RR for a while as I feel its a lot to read. Sometimes I wonder whether I will be able to finish this book or not. So today's plan is to read Immunopathology and Wanter electrolyte chapter from RR. Its like 40 pages. I need to be fast.

Hey I just got my kaplan notes. I have a feeling that I won't be very comfortable with only notes thing. Its just my personality type. I have bought kaplan notes, RR patho, BRS behavioral until now and will be buying FA next .
