what is the difference between seeding and bloodborn metastasis?

  #2

hematogenous spread is the usual mechanism of dissemination for sarcomas whereas in seeding malignant cells exfoliate from a surface and implant and invade tissue in a body cavity

i agree with you silver as hematogenous spread usually is a distant metastasis like when thyroid tumor metastasis to bone but seeding usually is a local process occur in visceral organs by which malignant cells implant itself on the visceral peritoneum then travel to the parietal peretonium and affect a nearby organ
