hi
I have graduated medical school and living in Japan now.
I am so lost with studying. I do not know how to start again.
I have taken step 1 on March and I failed it. My score was 75.
I took Kaplan course , did Qbank (twice) Usmle world( twice), Q book ( once) and BRS physiology and BRS pathology. However my patho, physiology, pharamacology, microbiology are all low.
I am confusing which materials I should use. Should I keep studying Kaplan lecture notes and do Q bank or should I do other materials?
I have read the Usmle sites and a lot people said Goljan path notes and audio are good but I do not where to get the actual good one. At Ebay or other sites? Can anyone tell me which text I should use for Patho, physio, pharma and microbiology?
Which review questions I can use?
Where I can get the right source of goljan patho notes and audio?

So, did you read some of that link that i gave you? ... look, many of your question concerning how to study and what kind of materials to use are all answered in the exam experienes forum ... many people that got very very good grades posted their exact materials + plans that they used .. So, if you have some time read a couple of them ... youll find them very useful...
And if you have further Qs, go ahead ...

yes I have read the experience forum and it helps . For pathology some ppl use robinson, some use BRS, goljan pathology... etc. I am not sure which material I should use for pathology. I have already used BRS.

Thank you soooooo much. Some how I only can Goljan 100 notes(PDFfile) but other files I can not open it but I really appreciate your help.

Dear, do you have (WinRAR) program?
google this program ... you can download it for free ... unzip the files ... then they will work
the files that you downloaded are in (.rar) form ... after you unzip them they will become (.pdf) ... so, you need to get that program

Thank you so much. I did download winrar program and successfuly be able to dowonload them however only goljan audio is not able to listen ( I do have i-tune in my computer) Do you know how I can listen to goljan audio?
I am sorry to ask you so many stupid questions.

i dont know about apple !
but in windows ... you can use windows media player or jet audio
(((( heyyyyyyy apppple fans out there give us a hand here !!!! ))))
how do play MP3 on apple systems ?

I don't have a Mac, but I use iTunes.... so when you do "add a file" into iTunes, and choose say Goljan "Ch1Cell Injury" file, once it has gone into iTune, select the file, right click and choose "Convert to MP3". I know the original file is already in MP3 format, but it needs to be converted again.
Once it has converted the file to MP3, you can delete the original file that you uploaded and the newly converted file should play.
