Has any img done their required internship in the US . How does that work?

in the US, the internship is the first year of residency (i.e. PGY1 position)

If the internship you speak about has to be done in order for you to get the MD diploma I guss you're stuck in your country. If it has to be done in order to get a residency position in your country, forget about it and take the MLEs and goto US. The hybrid way, I guess it's no posible!

Sorry im from the caribbean. Entering first year in Jamaica Mona UWI . By the way ManuNasti what field do u want to go into. I read in another post that you fot a research fellowship at hopkins. Congrats!!!!! Hope i can do the same

yup i agree, most IMG have 2 do compulsory internship yr 2 get their MD

so f thats ur situation stick 2 ur country

u can do ur internship in usa...lots of them from india do it ,but....u need to be a us resident...its very easy to do if u can get a reccomendation or u know some one in a university...
