1. They have to make up the month that they miss. That reflects on what ever fellowship plans because you would be lake for fellowship.
2. ACLS - different hospitals will have different rules.
It's a scramble right before interns hit the floor, cones that are ready to start get their schedules changes to cover in patient services so that other residents don't follow too many patients.
It's awful!
