I have my exam in 2 weeks and 4 days. After reading the post below by Shadia and her exam experience, I am officially entering PANIC MODE! I have just started reviewing for CCS today and am familiarizing myself with material and software.

Shadia - what did you use to prepare for your exam? Did you use USMLEWORLD Qbank and/or CCS prep? Are you currently in residency in the USA or are you taking the exam before you start your PGY 1 year? I wish you all the best!

Hi bwaliamd,

I am sorry If I made you panic, But it is the truth we have to face. I used USMLE world q bank and ccs cases. but questions are really different from real exam. I will start residency this month but people took exam same day with me told me that even if you are in residency for one year ,exam is still weird for them. lastly you have to take it no other choices. Good luck

Take NBME, if >400, you almost pass.

I took NBME 6 weeks ago and I got a score of 350. I took it again 2 weeks ago and scored 300! MY SCORE WENT DOWN! I would like to take it for a third time 8 days before my exam (so that I have enought time to postpone if need be). Im so scared. I am sick and tired of studying now.

Shadia, do you remember any of the "wierd" questions you got on the exam? What was so "wierd" about it?

Okay, I just took the NBME again. I scored 430. I am no longer in panic mode - phewwwwwwwwww. Thanks for your help guys. Should I take this as a good sign even though I have taken the exam already? Or should I be freaked out still?
