ECFMG has received my application for 4 weeks, but have not issued DS2019 yet.

the mandatory orientation including the ACLS training will take places in 15 June. this is a must and the hospital can not find a solution.

BBB, Do you see any similar situation like this?

I considered apply an emergency visistor visa to go for the orientation then come back for J1. Is it a good idea although there is some risk for the emergency visistor visa interview?

Please share your input.

Thanks alot

Why you don't call them? If they issued something, tell them to fax it to you.

Did you check on OASIS?

If they issued the form, at least make an appointment for J-1 visa while you are waiting to receive that.

Hi Amirhossein

I did call them. They say that the only thing that I can do is to wait

They reviewed my application on the 3 rd week from the date they got the aplication. Then they required an updated CV. My coodinator sent the CV immediately more than one week ago.

Now my OASIS status is still pending

The only alternative i can see if your documents don't arrive in time is to get yourself ACLS accredited from any other institution running the AHA certified course (most community colleges do it)..however, your hospital may not reimburse you for this, and it costs around $400 for the 2 day course
