Hello I am seeking opinions on how I will fare this year in MATCH for categorical General Surgery. I am a Ross University Student 4.0 GPA, 99 Step I and 99 Step II with PASS CS. I have excellent LOR's (one from a department chair and program director.) I would like to match in philadelphia/NJ/MD/DE area due to personal reasons. What do you all think my chances of being competitive in this market are? Is there anything that I can do now to make myself more competitive? I look forward to your replies! Thanks in advance!

njemt369 please excuse me if i sound harsh but i dont understand why people ask this question when they have everything under the sun on their CV. HOw can you improve on a double 99, HOw can one get more than 4.0 GPA and what will replace excellent LOR's. If you donot know you are competitive enough or not then i dont know who can answer your question. Goodluck and please do not doubt yourself.

yeah I interview to transfer to an american school but it was not successful so I will graduate from Ross. Ross University Graduates are considered Foreign Medical Graduates.
