Hey everyone.

Am just beginning to make inroads in to Physio. Any tips and tricks to tackling this mammoth? I know it's a high yield subject. Aything I should watch out for? Any habit I should adopt?

Thanks, and good luck smiling face

listen very carefully to Dunn Lectures if u have Windows Media Player then increase the play speed of the lecture cos Dunn's voice actually puts u to sleep faster than a lullaby. Go thru Kaplan only its more than enuf and if u get stuck then go ahead and look up Ganong as a reference book.

Agree with advise above, Kaplan alond DVDs plus Ganong as the reference. For me was useful to put the notes into Kaplan Medessentials, seems to me more easier to revise it from this book with the notes now.

And it is so true Physio lecture doctor might put you to sleep. grin

How about another good night sleep teacher Dr. R . at biochem grin

May be that's why new physio is funny & new biochem is lady , but I still like our old lullaby teachers .

NnL, how to speed up, at which speed the voice will still clear at every word , would it be good to speed up Dr. Goljan , & step 2 too ??

Thanksnod

Hey everybody,

I too am doing Physio.Graphs are so important.........so I put them down in one notebook as and when I encounter them along with the explanation ofcourse and the related concept. It serves as a quick revision and you can breeze thru them when you are not in a mood for more serious study.I'm doing the same for formulae and mathematical calculations too......so that i get used to it and dont freak out when i see them in Qs.......

Hope it works!

Also solving Qs right from the start is a good idea as there can be alot of different Qs on each concept, and solving them ensures you master the topic.

Happy studying!

thanks everyone.

nnl, could you please tell me where I can access Dunn's lectures?

i have been meaning to keep up with the qns as i cover the chapters. i think i haven't tried hard enough. i shall improve now. a separate list of equations sounds good, coz already my head is spinning!

and, yes, what about cns? what are the preferred supplementing sources?

gn and happy reading, folks!
