Hi there
How Imp CS attempts with outstanding scores in step1&2?.Does it affect significantly or has a minor effect .Is it compensated by getting excellent scores in both steps in first attempt,doing 2-3 month observership?
I dont know but need your point of view.

to be honest it realy effects your application...its bad, very bad to have an attempt on any of your USMLE exams...at some hospitals your application goes to the bottom as soon as they see an extra attempt no matter how good your other scores are....

on the cs i think its very bad because it means your english is not that good and your communication skills with patients also is not good
