Regulators of micturition reflex:

1. sacral micturition center: found in S2-S4 level
fxn: bladder contraction. parasympathetic fibers travel fr. S2-S4 ventral
white matter w/in pelvic nerves & stimulate cholinergic receptors in the
bladder wall.

2. pontine micturition center- found in the pontine reticular formation. It coordinates relaxation of external urethral sphincter w/ bladder contraction during voiding.

3. cerebral cortex: inhibits sacral micturition center.

Woke up at 5am today. Started my revision in Derm, Endo. Will do Hema now.
I will study FA too esp micro & embryo. Oh God! Seems like endless & overwhelmingly
loaded things to study. I'll try to study the HY's but gosh everything looks HY to me.
UUrgghh!
well anyway be positive.. Work harder rhis weekend...

Hey 21st I hear. 3 days. U have the world to conquer.The best advice I got for this period was consolidate all I know. I would revise Goljan 100 pages, FA and do lots of questions. Go over photos, charts,and have faith in god and ur self. take your rest and sleep well.
