What is a minimum good overall % score in UW?

Hey GOGETA, good to have you here again. UW is a learning tool not an assessment tool so it doesn't matter too much the score, but how much you are learning from it. Good luck!!

Gogeta, glad to see you back with a high spirit. Fully concentrated on the study is excellent, but hard to do. And a little bit cartoon (just a little bit time used, not too much like I recently did) will do you some good because our brain needs some break.
Don't ever lose hope if you happen to score low in UW now. Learning the most valuable concept sout of them are far more important. And reviewing them several times will be better since each time you can clear more of the confusing concepts, and each time your knowledge will be strengthend. Enjoy.

At the moment Im reading about Vagina and uterus and ovaries, I think is calledPsychiatri. Sorry for the joke
But Im going over OB/GYN
And old friend have help me alot and has give me some direction of how to study.
for example read the kaplan on stuff forst then see the video and then do the questions.
Is nice that from time to time someone helps you.
That is why I a;ways say in step1, the same way Im helping you, people are helping me
I'm trying to maintaing myself positive this year is the year that I will get into residency, even if is out of the season, how will I will just say this

So this is is how it goes in OB
The only way to be 100% sure that the lady is pregnant is by, either and ultrasound,xray that shows the bones of the kid , the kid moving or labor
If is pregnant and there is a problem
1- Is the mom ok?
2- is the baby ok?
If no to any of those two then do something to make it better
And if that is not enough and she is near labor just take the kid out by labor or by cesarean but preferible natural labor.
If the women brest get big does not mean she is pregant

Just did some OBGYN questions from UW, and I was this is easy, I will get a hiegr score than IM then I finish and give me the grand % of 36 LOL
It seems I still dont get it
Time to learn from those questions

It was soooo funny ! I was like somewhere I was captured, no idea where and how... all I know was I was feeling horrible and I was trying to find a way of getting out of there ...then I see ppl coming , one my hubby and 2 more men with him , and one is you I cant remember your face or anything but I wake up and I know its you Its soo funny ! Today I have seen the light.I have understand why I have live the live I have live so far.
I can say that there are several people that make a big part of who I'm today, some in a good way and others in a bad way. At the end of the day people nature is to keep going forward with you or without you.
Pointing fingers will not help, it may be a little palliative because they have some fault and because it gives you a little denial and rationalization. At the end of the day the only one to blame is yourself.
This process of the exams makes come to the surface many things that we have, some good other bad. The thing is to master them to be a better person and have happines.
People go to religion for happiness and actually is the best rationalization there is.
We as humans try to avoid pain, beacuse is not plesent(unless you are a masoquist)
But the only way to succed is to blame yourself at the end of the day.
There are people that help you in different ways and because you are so far behind you actually slow them of their full potential and even happiness.
Sometimes is hard to let go, and more when you have several lifelong issues.You just want to hold it with everything and at the end the more time you have it the more damage you do to yourself.
We all have a potential, some have biger ones than others but because of excuses do not live their potential. People see and recognise this people potential and some of them do not realise they have the potential because of ll of the garbage they are going trhrue.
I for example was suppose to have taken the exam in December, many people have help me and has been there for me unconditionaly, and yet we are in January and I have not taken the test nor Im ready(people might argue this last part). In new year I decided not to think about the time I have lost and just try my best,problem is I still havent try my best.
When you realise that people that you were their teacher when they started their medical school are now practicing medicine in the states, it makes you wonder and think what have I done this time? Where the time go?
A friend have talk to me about religion, me been a person that was rased with reliious values always welcome his religious aproach.(There is a book called the alquimist very good book)
I remember one time my car broke and I had to push it in a 03 degree cold night at 1 am in chicago with snow, this friend told me you have to be thankfull for having the strenght o be able to push the car.Today I realise he was right.
Everything is how we see the world, what is in our reach that we can do something about it to change, and what is out of our reach.
God has always been there for me helping me in one way or another, no matter how bad or shitty thing I have been going thrue. I have not been alone.
People have help me and continuing helping me, because they have seen my potential.
I think is time for me to live up to my potential and stop whinig

Also I have notice the following
Lets pretend that some one came to me and say hey GOGETA I will put you in a clinic as the doctor, you do not nned to take the exams or anything. Just come and you will have your own private practice by yourself.
i have sadly notice that I will be able to help many people but at the same time I will be doing many Iatrogenic stuff for the lack of knoweldege
I took a mock test for IM boards OMG the questions were stupid and like everyday stuff. I was able to manage many but at the same time I mimanage many others.
Now when I read I'm like err I need to prepare for my own practice and not kill patients. Sounds horrible but it works for me
