o ok. i would advice u not to read UW notes before u actually do it. u will not be able to gauge ur preparation. u can read the notes after u have solved UW, for revision. in fact u can add to the notes while u r solving UW.

Everytimr I feel down about studying I say to myself,
1- Do I want to study molecular biology or this?
2- Dinnt I say that after step1 everything was going to be medicine and better

Actually the questions are killing me, depressing me.
They are very tough BECAUSE I dont know what to do.
You read it nd they seem easy but they are not

I was scoring in the 70's and in the 60's in Qbook. Now I'm doing so bad I feel I'm preparing for step1 all over again FLASBACK

Hi Gogeta, cheer it up. Never give it up. It is better to have a low score now than writing the real one without enough preparation. And it is so normal that at first when you do questions and reading explanations, it looks like every question will consume you more than 10min. But if you keep going, moving forward, and then coming back to review it again, and again, you will feel more comfortable. Each time you review, you will strenghthen your knowledge, in different areas. So just keep moving, you will conquer this exam. Best of luck.

i think step2 questions require more of logic and concn sp with long question stems..
lots of practice questions and hitting the books i think is the key
just plain old hard work and to trust in GOD.

just put yourself in your old step 1 shoes, and see if you feel better. i'm in that step 1 question-hellhole right now, and i'll be happy to trade places with you. think about that.

About the UW notes, I guess it is better to print it out, and make corrections and add more stuff on it. And then read at least two to three times of the final version. Make sure you understand most of them. Best of luck with your study.
