Interesting that the BEST tx for an acute case of cluster headache is 100% 0xygen.
before you Dx Alzheimer you need to do B12 and Thyroid work up, so you dont get sue.
sub arachnoid hemorrhage can give you hyponatremia
amlodipine is a magic drug for subarachnoid hemorrhage
Something call tumor cerebri OMG thst is something I learn in the other forum, well let me tell you about it:

You can use lithium for cluster headaches
and remember that cluster headaches is most common in men
something confusing bith MS and guillian barre have antiboies against the Nervous system right?
For Myasthenia gravis you can do something call plasmaferesis and that will help shortly but will improve the patient.

In conclusion just deliver the baby and everything will be ok.
For pregnancy
MgS04 FOR CONVULSIONS or to prevent the dose for tx and prevention is the same:
5gr loading and then 2gr/hour
For HTA you just give Hidralazine or labetalol also you can use methyldopa
Be careful with B-blockers

Hello Ivone thanks for passing.
I will try to see If I can take the test this year, I know no dates JUST THIS YEAR.
I have been doing some UW questions on OB/GYN and I will say that is interesting.
This and Pediatrics are my weakest areas so for September I will try to make them my strongest areas.
Also I'm doing 46 questions per day of UW so I hope I will have at least 800 questions in September from UW OB/GYN and Pediatrics and repeat some of them.
If you calculate that in September I'm suppose to do 1,300+ your math skills are good, but I have to take in account the days I will not do questions or just only do 20
Realistic Goals are better to follow 
I'm just an ordinary guy, so dont think I will do 300 UW per day and read 8 chapters in the same day, if you can GOOD for you, I'm not a genius I'm like Goljan when buddy get it he get it

I have been doing some pediatrics and those questions are easy and some VERY hard.
Is that how pediatrics is?
I will try to at least do 400 questions for pediatrics and 400 of obstetrics.
people say that this 2 subjects are just easy and less than the 30% of the test, but they are my weakeness.

Today I read the pediatrics part of a book call advance life support for the usmle step2, really simple, but has a coupple of things that I did not knew
Also I did a couple of cases of underground clinical vigenetes for pediatrics.

Hi Gogeta. How is it going with your step 2 prep? How is UW for it compared to step 1? I need your advice about UW. I have heard two things. 1. Wait until after reading and rotations to start UW, about a month before test. 2. Get UW yesterday, and do questions everyday while doing rotations because it will help with shelf exams and step 2. What do you think?

Gogeta, I can tell that you are trying to be more focused on your preparation. You will definitely do much better for step 2. Yes, we can all get stellar scores because we are doctors. Good luck!
Hi edie, about your question to gogeta, my two cents is: follow your own style, just remember to really digest your stuff, you will do great. Like for me, I go with method 2 because I feel like step 2 is way too vague comparing to step 1, the concepts, the questions, the answers. I would like expose myself to as many Qs as possible to clear my thoughts of step 2 knowledge. If I just read the text, I will still be lost when I face the Qs. But if I keep solving Qs, so many things will stick to my brain easily, the symptoms, the diagnosis, the differentiation diagnosis, what to do next, what not to do in certain conditions et al. But for many other people, they can not stand up beginning Qs right away without any fundation of basic knowledge. So situation varies to different people, however, you know yourself better than anyone else. My suggestion would be pick up your own style, make up your own plan, revise your plan at the beginning, but stick to it as you study along, you will get what you want at last. Hope this helps you a little bit. GL.

Hey guys/ girls
1- I have try to advance as much as I can, today I did 150 questions of the pretest clinical vignetes for the usmle step2 and the questions were realy REALY easy compare to the ones in UW. The explanations are in one way LAME, but they explain you at least the basics of the correct answer and a little of the others ones.
This is the thing WAS so EASY and I was in the 40's in those 3 blocks of 50
I feel like a piece of S

Edie get clership for internal medicine from aguirre is a ACP book, very good for the shelf and step2.
I agree with njcj statement.
Now some people might not agree with me on this one, but I think that if I read and go over the basics and then start doing questions about Jupiter and Zeus (figure of speeach) How in the world will you get the bread and butter of medicine?
I think is better to go with the basics know it VERY VERY well, and then go to the next level. For example at this moment embarazing to say I'm strugling with the basic.
Can you beleive that ______ Any how I will read again and keep doing questions to have a better understanding and then go over the big leagues with UW.
i MIGHT USE uw FROM TIME TO TIME but if I have not grasp the basic concepts what help will I get by knowing that pregnant women are not suppose to eat a lot of cabbage during pregnancy because of the chance of a syndrome for the child?

m shocked got my score and it was 186 \ 76 .... i thought id get a decent score ... towards the end i was even scoring well on u world ..... i am an img from india ... i still have step 1 aND other steps remaining ... tell me the truth does this crumble my usmle dream ???/ ..... am plannin on taking a good six months for the prep of step 1 now ..... i feel it wud have been better tht i failed , ... plz do giv me som advice ......

Cabbage ,asparagus ,cauliflower and Kale are some goiterogens.
