Hey cirus good going... I m fine too.....Finished OBG today and going to start Surgery tomorrow....got to do Crush, FA, n kaplan lecture notes Lets hope for the best!!

sTARTED WITH SURGERY...but before that read OBG FA, to revise some stuff, then read trauma ....stil continued...plan to finish surgery in 3 days...though this is my first thorough surgery read so gonna take time...

Finished neph, GIT & Hepatology are almost done..
Tomorrow is Hematology & Resp..
I'm not happy with myself as i'm not concentrating as much as I should, so I'm missing a lot of points..The problem is that I have to many distractions but this will be overcomed ISA in my next revesion.
Have to finish IM by Mon (Still Psychiat, ENT, Biostatist & ethics, Emergency med & preventive med) so Ill be able to go over Ped, ObGyn & surgery by the 10th of this month.. This leaves me 1 month & 10 days before the exam so Ill solve all UW again in 20 days (aim is >/=100 qs per day) with revesion going( really thorough one I hope on the same time, this will leave me 20 days before the exam,where ill be able to go over UWmistakes & notes again with just reading the lectures)
Don't give up...YES I CAN DO IT..

i have my exam in abt 4 weeks . i don't have a journal of my own, but i do post at doc08' s journal.

At last almost done with IM & syst Ped..Still have to finish Psychiatry, Preventive & biostatistics( I hate Bostatistics) by tom..I'm a little behind schedule but this is because I added an extra Kaplan Q Bank block every day ( well i said to myself, it doesn make sense to have the book & don solve it, U can'it only depend on UW qs, u need normal qs too, & as I thought, I missed some easy ones at the begining as I was only thinking of the twisted aspect of UW, ie can't be that easy)
Still aiming to finish by the 10th, may be a day or 2 after then I will solve all UW again)
KEEP it UP I SAY, It's difficult but again DOWABLE!!lol

hI monaliza n cirus... I got down with viral fever and my net broke down...so wont be able to post my diary til the net works again...
I finished Surgery, n pediatrics read and I m doing psychiatry which I hope to finish by tomorrow....den I wil start with Medicine...next week plan to start with Q bank and second revision...

Exam on 4th AUGUST....GOTTA HURRY NOW....Thank God my net is restored.....think everyone is studying real good....I am back here again...
I finished second read of IM n pEDS....STARTTED with Kaptest....the plan is to do the bank...read UW Notes and read kaplan notes one time all over n den d FINAL TOUCH.........kEEP RUNNING

I am to start afresh......my prep needs serious overhaul....I must get more disciplined and study hard.....rather well!!! now I am doing exp to 50 q I did yesterday ..kap q bank peds...scored 58%..a bit low considering exam on 4th...but I have a hope that sun shines after the rain...I am loving the q d notes too....just gotta study for longer hours and keep distractions to minimum. I plan to do 155q before I sleep..thats a mighty target...but who said people with moderation ever got success................so I am not the one to sit n fret..I am courageous and I am surely made to be successful!!!

Peds, peds n lot of peds.... I scared 66% in last block..happy with it....things are improving for the good....but cant seem to pace with time..its running fast..wil finish obg read tomo..n also do Q.... Keep going happily for this is a life full of tests n results...dont worry..just give it your best!!! n here I come my next block of peds...

dONE WITH PEDS EXP...read only 25 pages of kap LN , they are boring now...READ UW notes obg, did 50 Q on kapteast got 64%, dont knw good or bad....wil do anoder block now...

finished anoder block half asleep..got 60% cud have done better if I was more attentive....anyways wil finish OBG tomorrow. This last two week time is scary..m not sure of anything...where I m heading..wat will happen...GOD

Obg finished kaptest with cumulative 64 in it. also read obg UW notes, cud not read FA n kaplan notes,. wil do later..its backlog now...
Started with surgery FA, den UW notes..den Kaplan notes n kaptest togeder..
if anybody has suggestions regarding last two week prep..most welcome..please drop them here!

yesterday was fine I did finish OBG, READ FA Surgery n UW notes surgery..but did only 2 blocks n scored low..surgery is always a problem with me...though its so technical...I m not interested or wat..wil finish d reast today..also I read surgery kaplan nOtes today..about half..but the kap blocks first......
I gotta get it done by myself...aw! getting irritating now!

sO i FINISHED SURGERY WITH LAST BLOCK SCORE OF 73% Nice change after so many bad ones on surgery...now started with psychiatry today..done FA, den UW notes revision, now doing kap q bank..got just 60 in first one...so many new concepts, cud not find em in kap notes , so wil begin d next block of 50 now...
Keep going ..getting closer...

Finally I finished psychiatry kap q with last block scores of 74 n 73%. thats better. I am relieved.But the worrisome thing is I havnt read kaplan notes for psych n OBG again..just one reading..I dont knw shd I read em or continue with Q, though I have read kap med n peds n lil bit of surgery again...dont knw wats gonna happen..its all in Gods hands..thinking of taking exam on 2nd rather than 4th ..I can save myself from late score n audio visual Q that way..but dont knw wud dat be a good decision considering I am yet to do the whole IM Bank n notes yet....
So many thoughts..I am sure going nuts....can anyone help me...hah...I am getting crazier........

Thanks a lot exotic....I was beginning to think I was talking to myself only all d way!I am just trying to do the best and the rest is upto HIM! May He bless us all...I preponed my date to 1st aug..no date for 2nd..way too close...dont knw d move is right or wrong but I am going to stand by my conviction...I CAN DO IT..

Last strategy...leave nothing untouched So I am now doing a crash course with test series(my own schedule..lol..didnt join anything
1. Read OBG UW notes
2.READ SOME KAPLAN NOTES obg D ONES i CUD NOT READ TWICE..SO THE SECOND READ IS OVER NOW
3. REad Hem onco UW notes
4.Did one block blood in tutor mode got 70%(way above average)
5.Doing second block NOW...
Is that too less for last days..if yes then I gotta work harder....

also did UW cvs NOTES...Den slept for 8 straight hours...
Today I read FA FOR CVS, did usmle cd, but cudnot get the score..they dont calculate it...shd have written all the ans n den calculated..chalo wil do it some oder time....
Now I m back to Kap q of CVS...HERE i COME...
