hey! can anyone pls tell me how ur usmle scores correlate to the real exam, ive heard u need to have a cummulative of 60- 70% to pass the exam, if someone know pls can u post it, thank u.

50%-55% in UW is a good score to at least pass in real test.60 - 70% is gonna give you high 80s in real test.hope this helps.

this is a calculator for the three point score of uw
(2.39*uw score)+84 will closely give ur three point score....
whence u can calculate the 2 point score....

Im doing the Qs timed but topicwise...not mixed and immidiately after reviewing that topic...can I still rely on my UW score to calculate 3 digit score??????
and 2.39 * UW is percentile or overall correct in UW??

well,not sure whether the formula works or not but if this is correct,i got 20 marks lower than calculated
so i think it doesnot
work hard,dont correlate.......... 'cos uw score doesnot matter ,what matters is how u perform on the real exam,not on uw........keep uw as a learning tool,not as an assessment tool

considering I have 16 days and I did only 12% of UW yet

I think that the forumla 2xUW%+84 or 70 is more accurate
When I had 44%x2+84= 172 I took NBME4 =172
When I had 48%x2+84= 180 I took NBME3 =184

Tks sukhs, i also agree with u, hard work is the only way to get to where u want , but sometimes its good to know an approx of where u stand so u can make changes when necessary.

Feyza the MOST important thing is that you learn the concept of each question in UW.
You will some questions that are just like UW and you only need to look for the answer, also others just by the concept you can answer them.
So use it as a learning tool, ok.

i can understand ur situation feyza,,.......,it is no way neccessary to complete the whole of uw in 16 days but i think wat matters is how well u do it and how good u r as a sponge that absorbs the uw as it is doing it....
its great as a learning tool......please do not panic,RELAAAAAAAAAAAAAX
i guess u r from pakistan?so in vernacular...... thoda karo ya zaada karo par please jitna bhi karo us mein koi mistake nahi honi chahiyeh,..........sometimes concepts get repeated as u do the questions , also dont worry abt the money worth but definately the scores-worth so LEARNING shud b concentrated upon rather than assesing and panicking..
assesing myself and not actively learning enuff is a mistake which i made ,dont repeat it buddy

its on june 20 gogeta I decided that I wont extend it whatever the result will be cuz I dont feel strong enough to do this 1 month more !! so Ill do my best in these 15 days ..
sukhs...Ill be as good as Sponge Bob Square Pants in UW but Im not from Paki Im Turkish and I wanna know the translation to that plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yes Feyza , we speak the same language and just 60 years back, we were one country . BTW, good to know that you are Turkish. I love that country , especially Intanbul and sea of Marmara.
Sukhs , in Pakistan we spell this name as" Faiza" or "Fayza".
Good for us ...On this forum we are learning our Social studies and Language arts too.
