A 6 yrs old boy whose mother came along ... complains of his son that he recently had a downfall in his studies as well as his social life ... increased sleep .. increased hunger. She also mentioned that a week ago his sons friends died due to a fire at their home .. and tells you that the fire was due to a wooden stove. She then asks you that she too has a fire stove at her place ... What is the best option you should tell her ... A) Get a gas stove B) Do an annual maintainance on the Wooden Stove C) Install Fire extungisher D) Move out of your house

nice Q..... what i remember....only when a child comletes age of 6 yrs....he can understand the meaning of death........ i dont understand, whether this child has or hasnt understood wht death is........ considering child knows as he is of 6....none of the options seems to be correct.... getting extinguisher is good option but the childs phobia for the stove will not be relieved just by getting that thing......its dificult to please him or make him understand advantages of a fire extinguisher. i feel they shud take the stove away from him for few weeeks...... or shift to some other place temporarily.... i will go with D....

thats nice........luckyall.......kaplan says, less than 5 yrs.......no idea about death....... by 8 to 9yrs........child can understand....the irreversibility and bla....bla.....of death. i dont understand what about this boy??? he is in between....... i thought he might be undestanding death but not completely. he cannot understand the inevitibility of death.....nor his parents can make him undrstand either. so in these situations its better to switch to some different place if not parmanently.....so he cud no longer recall those bad memories....atleast the wooden stove... what do u say..........
