hi everyone ,let me join you all
my is exam on oct 11.,chennai
i seemm to waste alot of time thinking what my scores would be?i end up looking at the exam scores thread alleast twice a day ,calculating how much would my score be if i got this much on UW.want to take NBME but not having the courage,if its gonna be low i 'm get deppressed.how are u all coping up with the stress or is it only me worrying a lot.
how to keep my self motivated and not to worry ,the last month is very important,share your views guys .we all are sailing in the same boat

Well v really r in the same boat..same frame of mind thinking same things even doin same things..i also open the threads almost twice a day n look n think wat i'l do..get depressed than get motivated...its life..so its nt u only..Relax
don wana stop u fm looking in the threads as they motivate u and make u work harder so keep working hard..Last month is crucial obviously and don b afraid of doin nbme as its the right tool to tell u where u stand and u ve 4 forms so try one wen u feel like may b in a wk or so..

good to know that there are people like me.will plan to do nbme downloaded one in 2-3 days ,just to get an idea.after 2 wks will do online one.o u have any idea of how much is good score on downloaded one in%.
what about u what r u doing now which subject,me doing UW rt now .plan to do 7 blocks at a stretch tommorrow.hope i get good avg score

Me doin pharma along with UW these days but UW score is static nt climbing up..making me tense but hope it get better..
Not much idea abt the nbme forms may b the other member of gang can help u on that..

finally done with it ,tough job is ahead.have to review all the blocks ,its goona take a long time.avg score on my last 7 blocks-72%.good luck to all

hye folks,wats up ,well em in severe depression ,i underestimated time for 2nd read and guess watttt ....... em still 2nd read while fighting with immunology and feel em goin down and down,i read it real bad in 1st read and now its taking revenge,em stuck to it,no way to start 3rd read.... i donnno wat to do ,i feel i cant do exam in oct ,though i decided to give on 16th,well my luck , i wasted all time i feel ......................by 8th sep will start 3rd read Inshallah if i would come out my depression,
3rd read em thinkin to do systemwise,i feel good just about that i have done UW almost and performance not that badwitrh 2nd read,hopefully 3rd read would nt take that much time as i gave heeeeeeeeelllll lot time to 2nd read.my head spinning nowbyeeee

em studying with breaks almost 7 hr daily,wat should i do ,plz need advice
how u guys doing 3rd read,how u managing to do q book and first aid with it,as i did very little first aid,just pharm and behav and embryo from FA,wat about UW ,and there are heel lot mcq sources here and there like pretest and q bank ,nbme are u doing them too and when,plz let me know

started 3rd reading just a2 days back,i'm worried as i havent added the extra points from my q bank to first aid but i added them to my kaplan notes ,i dont know how i'm going to revise all that stuff.i should have added them to my FA.now repenting .any suggestions

i am still struggling to get above 70......never uptill nw.......a way far behind.......
hey dr ruman......what happened? ur the positive spirit of the group.......dont loose hope.....try ur best.......as exam takers advice take uw as ur learning tool and be its friend.....as u said

welll......i am doind uw and will concentrate on it only.......i dont think iwilll have time to solve q bank.......bt will try to do q book and at least 2 nbme.......nt sure how will i manage......from 1st oct will try to concentrate on FA.......
is this good plan?plz let me know and plz share ur plans for oct.....hows everyone going to manage the study plan in last crucial month?????

hi vanilla,dr ruman, jz-doont lose hope,let us all pray to god thats the only thing we can do and of cource study.no time to worry.whatever will happen will happen .just study dont think of the result.me planning to do a quick revision of all the subjects from kpln,them my UW notes and imp points from FA.do UW second time.only review

ur plan vanilla.sounds very strikin to me coz i also think that i cant sail too many boats of all q sources,so sticking to UW and gonna start 3rd read but focusing all on UW,with q book questions and kaplan q and a revision,my score with 2nd read average 60%,lets hope i would improve this time,waaaaaa topper u did graet on ur score with UW,wish u all best on 11th oct
eid day on 15 th oct ,so em thinkin to postpone or pre pone date of 15oct,but my score not allowing me to dare enough to take date early.i dont know wat to do

HI everyone..
Everyone doin great i feel..mashallah..
Thanx dr ruman Ramadan Mubarik to everyone..
Anyways my plan of last month..I'l do 4th read..along with Qbook n revise the notes of UW which i am making along with it although my score still below 50% gives me a hell of tension these days..
Last few days only FA..
and date decision depend on the nbme forms i'l try to give all 4 forms..i recommend to evryone that do give nbme atleast 20 days n a wk bfre exam..
and dr ruman i think u can extend or change the date a wk(6 days i ve heard) bfre ur exam otherwise ul b charged some money..
Do PRAY FR EACH OTHER...INSHALLAH V'L ALL B DOING GREAT..

I guess anything above 70% is good as many of my friends who scored bet 70-75% got 95 plus in real exam..

Im nt in the OCT team anymore...
gone to NOV...
ve u given any nbme forms..that will clear things up fr u..if u score good in that than go fr the exam..i ve nt yet given it a try but i felt my 3rd read will nt finish in time so delayed the exam a biiiiitttttttt
So relax and ur the best one to decide wen to give the exam as u know the best..

and all group members come out of hibernation atleast once every 3 days..

thx 4 replying,yeah me outa oct too
on 3rd will finish wid uw rev by 1st week oct,then hoping to give nbme
but i have made a stupid mistake which i just came to know ,i had submitted application 4 eligibility period oct -dec 2007,at 4th sep ,now i was told last date was 31st august,i havent got any approval mail for application yet,as status always says in process of verification bla bla.....
i am not sure about fate of my application,thats another reason of severe tension as put so much effort and if i wont get eligibility period of oct -dec,then i will be switched to jan -2008 ,a biiiiiiiig break of preparation and ofcourse i will forget allll,em praying Allah to plz let them accept my application for oct -dec period,em soooo confused wat gonna happen,kinda freaked out,God forbid i think i dont belong to 2007 exam badge anymore
all my prep seems to be ruined,all hopes lost,i am standing in middle of nowhere,do need all ur prayers

is there anyhope that i will get that eligibility period,plz tell me if any 1 knows.should i stop prep step 1 ,and start step2 as i just cant take ut anymore if i be given exam date in jan -mar2008

I guess if u talk to them ur problem will b solved inshallah..
N thinking of giving step 2 bfre step 1 is nt that good bcoz it'll take much longer time to prepare fr step one again i feel as u'l forget evrythin..
