Occlusion of splenic artery will most likely affect the blood supply to which of the followings:
a>. Jejunum
b>.Head of pancreas

The answer is B, Head of the pancreas. The fundus of the stomach is supplied by short gastric branches of the splenic aretery. Splenic supplies the body and tail of the pancreas, part of the greater curvature of the stomach and the spleen.

The splenic artery gives off branches to the stomach and pancreas before reaching the spleen.

I thought the splenic branches supply the body and tail of the pancreas and not the head. Am I wrong?

You are right.Head of the pancreas has rich anastomosis of superior and inferior pancreaticoduodenal arteries.Splenic artery supplies the body and tail of the pancreas.

I will also go for E.
