hallow every one
I'm new here
my step1 exam in shaa Allah is in August 2008
and I was wondering what are the subjects covered in each of the USMLE steps
plus
if any one of you can give some study tips I'll be grateful

I think its funny that you already have your exam date but still dont know what the subjects are .
Anyway, here you are: step1 covers these subjects:
Physio.
Anat. including histo. embyo. and neuroscience
Biochem. including genetics and molecular biology
Behavioral Science (collection of several issues)
Micro.
Patho.
Pharma.
Regarding tips:
1-read many of the good exam experiences provided on this forum
2-start early
3-find a good study partner
4-make a schedual and stick to it

thanks a lot for the advice
but can I ask what's the behavioural sciences is ?
is it psychology and sociology?!
coz I don't remember taking such a subject
and
excuse me for my deficient knowledge about the whole thing

Q; What are the topics covered by behavioral science for step one?
A; epidemiology, statistics, social life, sleep, human sexuality, ethical and leagal issues, substance abuse, child development and some others.

Kaplan LN ( lecture notes ) Behavioral Science or BRS ( Board Review Series ) Behavioral Science

... look dear, if your really planning to take this exam i advise you to go ahead and buy the whole collection of Kaplan LNs (which are indeed review studying material) there are other material for Qs such as Kaplan Q-book.
Try to read many exam experiences, surf Kaplan medical website and usmle.org
