what is the difference between both ?

PALE THROMBI are ARTERIAL THROMBI which are firmly adherent , usually superimposed over a atheroscerotic plaque.They are GRAY WHITE , AND FRIABLE COMPOSED OF TANGLED MESH OF PLATELETS, FIBRIN, ERYTHROCYTES AND DEGENERATED LEUCOCYTES.
RED THROMBI /STASIS THROMBI /VENOUS THROMBI are formed in slowly moving venous blood ,almost invariably occlusive,contain MORE ENMESHED ERYTHROCYTES.
