In Doubtful presentations that could be accute appendicits ,what is the test to proceed?
CT or Sonatr?

I think that the CT is superior to ultrasound and is the best test for suspected acute appendicitis but the source if this info is just my memory, so could be wrong...

In kaplan's surgery "CT HAS BECOME THE STANDARD TEST OF CHOICE" What if both were given as answers and the question asked what is the next step (not the best test)?

Again I am not sure, but I would pick U/S becasue is almost as effective as CT but much cheaper...

U/S is good particularly to exclude gynaecological conditions. CT is better in atypical cases of appendicitis.
