i picked b too. but don't think it's the answer. You'd made it quite clear when you asked her to sign the consent, do you need to say it again. I remember a quite similar situation in UW, they didn't pick that one.

I agree with doc clotaire xcept that it mandates an autopsy if the wife does not agree

webjeee I think the uw q was a bit different, the pat was explained the risks of a procedure, agreed and signed and then changed his mind so there was no point in explaining again. but here it doesn't say exactly that all the risks have been explained. what if the man had some inherited disease? (APKD and berry aneurysm?) the children might need to undergo some tests. the mother might change her mind if she knew all the implications
