Hi all

I got an offer to do my elective at Weill Medical College at Cornell (NYC) - I actually applied for Paeds Cardiology but I got Ambulatory Paeds Cardiology. From what I understand, that's just outpatients, right? This will probably be the only USCE I can afford to have - should I just go for it? Does this count as a clinical experience even though it is not wards based? I am planning to apply for a residency in Paeds.

Please help!

hi there

i applied to yale, cornell and mount sinai. yale and harvard usually only tell u at the very last minute if you get it (i'm still waiting for yale, thats my 1st choice). i got an offer from mount sinai but i didnt get the choice i wanted, its very popular there coz its in new york. not sure about malpractice insurance but it is included in the fees for yale which is good. fingers crossed i hear from them.

just look up their websites and the info is all there. i am an FMG from the UK.

well dupuytren i think go and take it and while u r in it u may have the chance then to shift to a complete elective and not an ambulatory
so don't loose the chance and take it , how knows what will happen nodnodnod
