HYPOSPADIAS is esentially a COSMETIC DIFFERENCE. the affected pt may have to sit to urinate rather than standing.
i think ...HYPOSPADIAS by itself does not cause INFERTILITY,Infertility may be present in the more extreme forms of hypospadias, where the testes are irregular and cannot produce viable sperm.
There are some conditions , which may require surgery to save the child from pain or illness, such as chordee which bends the penis causing painful erections, exposed mucous membrane, or adhesions.
Do correct me if i'm wrong.

Common complications of severe hypospadias include undescended testicles and inguinal hernias (i.e., located in the groin). Other complications include upper urinary tract anomalies and backflow of urine from the ureter to the bladder (vesicoureteral reflux).

Without surgical correction, severe hypospadias may result in the inability to urinate standing and infertility.
