The nonsedating antihistamines are CETRIZINE AZELASTINE FEXOFENADINE LORATADINE DESLORATADINE AND TERFENADINE,which is the prodrug of FEXOFENADINE was withdrawn from the market b'cos of cardiac toxicity . The newer drugs in this class are...ACRIVASTINE and EBASTINE/CEREBASTINE

if you have to prescribe to a pilot/driver....which one is the suitable one ? I think loratidine.

Cetrizine(ZYRTEC) is intermediate in casuing drowziness. even though they say its nonsedating but in reality it is sedating. I feel drowzy when i take it 8)
