one more Q.. so you had both anterior & posterior chest exposed while pt is sitting for examining anterior chest.. both male or female pt.. am I right??

yes couldn't avoid it. But I don't know any other way to cover back while examinig front when seated,
I don't know there may be any other good ideas

thanks malithahe.. actually in UW video they do ant chest exam while lying down.. but it takes s much time I guess I would examine in sitting position too. &
1 more Q were you able to auscultate heart & lung in abdo or CNS cases too...?

Yes I did becos in CNS cases there can be a cardiac cause most of the time. In Abd too I did. BUt in CNS case I didn't do abd. Notime to do and it is the only system that can skip. (although I skipped cerebellar signs in order to save time for closure and councelling) I wondered as every time when I came out even in one or two which I came out a minute or two early, most of the guys are writing PN

thanx malithahe.. i am not sure how to save time .. in CNS cases it takes me around 8 min for the history.. can we just take imp ones of PAMHUGSFOSS.. in history to save time. any tips for taking history fast.. it takes me 7-8 min.. how much time did you take in history & PE seperately?

My special thanks to my hubby who acted as my patient for two weeks (although poor acting). I didn't allow him to rest after coming from work until go to sleep. To my daughter who was three months and behaved as a good girl until mom and dad practice, and to Dinie for being my phone partner
