Guys, maybe most of you wouldn't agree but I think we should try to post qs from sources other than NBME. Because it's the general way used to see if someone is ready or not for the exam I guess very few among those that haven't taken NBME yet are intrested in risking to make this evaluting tool useless;
also if someone already took NBME could find little interst in discussing qs he already answered for.
Posting NBME qs is good only for those who has just taken it to try to understand if they got the question wrong and if so why, but I think it would be much better to look for this on a book and not here.
I am not saying we should ban NBME qs from the forum but at least we should try not to let them be 90% of the posted qs, because as things are now, with most of qs from NBME, it's better not to read any post than spending time on them and I am afraid some people can leave this forum because of this. The forum shouldn't be thought as the place to check NBME answers but as the place to go to reinforce everyone's knowledge
In step 1 forum there are much less NBME qs posted, and much more people connecting every day. Maybe the 2 things are related? What do you think?

I agree with you Big Time Virgola  .
Too many NBME qs in this site man and besides nobody can give an absolute answer to thoses questions , it 's very relative . Only those NBME guys know the exact answer . so why bother checking what others picked . Better look for it in the litterature .

I totally agree with you virgola. I very often don't open also other thread 'cos am afraid to find NEBME qs that have not been marked. Hope things are gonna change....

Althugh I dont think that NBME questions should not be posted...but what I do strongly feel about is that all the members should be responsible enough to clearly earmark the NBME questions so that people planning to take that NBME form can avoid them.
