If anybody does know any thing about the application for residency match ic california ...plz tell us how can we do that for IMGs ....I heard that there are may steps should be done in certain time for that .......

I am tryring to match to California also. My current knowledge is that you need to get PTAL first from California board. This supposed to take 3-6 month. Check the website of California medial board for information. I am not award of other additional steps for matching at California. Good luck!

You must have PTAL before doing residency, but you can submit you application status to ERAS.
When you matched in CA, You must fill the a form then send them to inform them about your training.
PTAL is valid for 1 year and must be renewed if you do residency in CA.

yes PTAL aka California letter is required BEFORE u apply for california programs
