A...this qn tests your knowledge of hepatitis antigens and antibodies, it has nothing to do with the age of the patient and I know what you are asking about, it asks who has a greater likely hood of developing a chronic infection and not who has chronic infection.

hepatitis a(option b) and e(option c) ---never chronic state option d..old infection not active.... option a---mother to a child(90% chances if mother positive HBsAg n HBsAg)

keepgoing, I guess you meant HBsAg and HBeAg (higher likelihood of vertical transmission)...
