C. Decrease release of intracellular calcium
D. Inhibit the activity of phospholipase C

E. incraese extracellular calcium

Even A. Activate inhibitory G-proteins (Gi) if you talk about M2 Receptors ... shocked

ans is A

In addition to activating inhibitory Gi, muscarinic cholinergic agonists stimulate the activity of phospholipase C, increase production of IP3 and increase release of intracellular calcium

In this case, A is definitely the answer. But not all the muscarinic receptors have the same mechanism.

M1 , M3 and M5 muscarinic receptors are coupled with G proteins of class Gq which upregulate phospholipase C and therefore inositol trisphosphate and INTRACELLULAR calcium as a signalling pathway.

M2 and M4 muscarinic receptors act via a Gi type receptor, which causes a decrease in cAMP in the cell, generally leading to inhibitory-type effects
