A 33 yr. old woman presents to ER after fainting. she c/o of abd. pain and gen. weakness. relates a h/o of wt. loss, amenorrhea, and intense cravings for french fries. P/E reveals hyperpigmentation of the mucous membranes, elbows, and knuckles. Lab studies show:- 10ug/dl serum cortisol following ACTH stimulation test.

Yes the scenario clearly describes the presentation of a Addison's disease. the increased craving for french fires n fainting spells hint Aldosterone deficiency while the Hyperpigmentation indicate an excess of ACTH and the Amenorrhea n weightloss all indicate Androgen n cortisol deficiency
