rash.....is mostlikely bcos of release of histamine from mast cells... procedure has simplified as response is now earlier....due to memory cells but.... still rash is bcos of release of histamines not lymphokines or cytokines..

here is the ans. she was most probably exposed to poison ivy.which is followed by type IV hypersensitivity reaction to urishiol oil found in poison ivy.contact with this oil leads to linear streak like rash in sensitized in dividuals.antigentic activation of T lymphocytes and macrophages leads to the production of lymphokines. although rash is mediated thru histamine release in type I hypersensitivity and other inflammatory reaction, here in this case lymphokines will play a major role, and the correct choice wud be E
