ur welcome silver.
infull blown AIDS T cells are vanishing,so there is no one to help class switching.IgM is produced without T cell help. so as the infection progresses more and more IgM is produced against envlop antigens which are constantly changing. late in infection ELISA becomes negative as it primarily tests IgG against p24 antigen.
in this condition B cell are 'stuck' in making IgM so u might find total Ig TO BE INCREASED.
