hi
i have just started preparing for cs exam,
can anyone tell me how to go for female chest examination.........like how to position patient gown and drape for anterior chest auscultation ???????????????
pls those are done with exam or are prepARING ......

Tell the patient you need to do a chest exam...
ask to untie the back of the gown...
pull the gown apart and and do the posterior chest exam...
inform the patient you need to do an anterior chest exam and ask to pull the gown down...
pull the gown down to right below the bra (diaphragm level) - no need to pull the sleeves out of the gown, or take off the bra...
when finished pull the gown up and retie to the gown...
I am done with the exam and this is what i did... good luck
