When would it be necessary to measure blood pressure? For the note have to use the value of BP given on the door anyway, so would it be a waste of time to do this during the physical? If the patient has nausea/lightheadedness/bleeding, would the orthostatic BP's (sitting and supine) be provided on the door, or are we expected to measure it... If it IS given, do we have to measure it again?

I DONT THINK SO WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT IN SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME WE HAVE.. WE CAN WRITE THAT IN WORK UP & TELL THE PATIENT.

There will be a blood pressure cuff provided in the examination room. Ofcourse I agree that we don't have time to do it if we only have 5-6 minutes for the physical. So what should we write in the work up? Orthostatics? Blood pressure supine and seated? Do we ever have to order a "Tilt Table Test"??

no clue!! I will prefer BP supine & seated . by useing term tilt table test we will have to explain the test which will take time again. I would stay away from using named tests
