hi,
i am an IMG, no USCE,passed step 1 , with a very low score of 78, a truly dismal performance.
i am planning to give step 2 in july end, do i stand any chance of getting a residency?
what are the chances, and what can do i to improve them ,besides scoring well on step 2.

What residency are you interested in?

Are you doing any research? Have you written any published articles, etc? Can you do an observership? All of the above will help.

Good luck

Do your research on possible residencies available to you in Canada. I have heard that it's extremely difficult for you if you didn't attend medical school in Canada.

Good luck

USCE - United States Clinical Experience.

No, it's not mandatory
