For the HPI ask SIQORAAA
Site, Intensity, Quality, Onset, Radiation, Alleviating and Aggrevating factors, Associated Symptoms.
Well, for all cases the questions are the same EXCEPT for the last one: Associated Symptoms!
What do you all usually ask for this one?
Can we make a list of all the associated symptoms you would ask for certain cheif complaints:
For example: For headache as the cc, you would ask:
Nausea/vomiting? Jaw claudication? trauma? dental surgery? Sinusitis?
Also: exercise? stress? fatigue? menses? meds?
