In which types of cases would you order a WBC or a WBC with differential?

yes but wouldn't a CBC include a WBC with differential?
Unless you suspect a luekemia or lymphoma and need to differenciate the different populations of certain types of cells with flow cytometry - and this is far beyond the scope of this exam

FA always says CBC but Kap CS says WBC in the WU very often, so I was just wondering.

how about list CBC,WBC with differential together as one list.
As I understand, 1. lots of hospitals give the result of CBC,WBC with differential on one same page of blood routine exam result.
2. you won't lost score since you put these tests from same group in one list even they don't give you credit for it.
please correct me if I am not.right
