PPD is a SCREENING test for ASYMPTOMATIC patients ONLY -stated in Kap CK.
But in FA and Kap CS they say to order it in case wher you suspect TB such as resp. symptoms with hemoptysis...
What do you all think?

good observation dr drvirgo...
Go with your gut... there are other test to fill the lab values - CBC, Chest Xray, bronchoscopy, sputum culture, etc...
I don't think leaving PPD off the list will hurt you...
