Hello all:
I am preparing to take step 2 CK soon. I already payed, my testing period is july to september but I would love to take it ASAP on the kaplan Qbank I got 62% and I have exam master for free from the university. I am not done with the Q but so far my overall score is 56% My husband says I have to aim for at least 70 in the simulators to get a life saving score ( since my step 1 was so low 79) My problem is that I am really running out of money so I dont know how good is exam master or if I should really buy UW.. PLS all the help I can get from you guys is HIGHLY appreciated. By the way I am interested in OBGYN

don't know about Exam Master...
yes - over 70 in kaplan qbank is the recommendation to get a decent score...
have you been using Kaplan notes?
I found Kaplan notes, UW, and Step2 FA invaluable for CK...
UW could be downloaded from various websites free... although i would recommend buying it... search USMLEForum... also look in this thread - maybe it's there... good luck

thanks a lot for your reply cocacola... I bought UW... Yes, I use Kaplan notes... what is step2 FA?
I am starting the veri intense fase on june 1 ( I already read3x the notes and done some Q's but staring june 1 I will do 150Q/day and review at least 30 pages/day from the notes) Do you think that is intense enough?

Step 2 FA = First Aid for Step 2... it's a little lengthier than Step 1 first aid so may take a couple of days to read...
150 questions/day and 30 pages of notes is a lot... not saying you can't do it - i don't know your capabilities... but i would hate to see you set high goals and kill yourself trying to meet them...
personally i could only do 100 mcqs max per day... it takes time to review questions - this is the most important part of your studies - firms up what you know and and helps you apply concepts correctly!
my suggestion - start question sets now! do UW 46 questions in timed mode - review all questions (right and wrong)... be honest about what you can do and set goals according to that...
