I was looking for a radilogy research position,I couldn't find any but I found a technician position in a community hospital that doesn't have a radiology residency program,I don't know if I should take the job or decline and keep looking for a research position, will it help in the match when I mention that I worked as a technician? I'm planing to apply for radiology in the next match.I know it's very competitve but I iwll give it a try. any advice is greatly appreciated.

I dont think that position would help you a lot if especially you want to apply in radiology. I would try to find something else like observership or research. Again, I personally dont think that position would considerably improve your CV. May be I'm wrong though. Good luck.
