Hi there:
I am in Toronro, about to start preparing for USMLE. Badly need help. where to start from? Any Study partners in my area? My Grad year is 2005 ,and i am from Shanghai , China. I've heard Kaplan is good. Only Kaplan is enough? where can i get these study materials? Books? DVDS?

Hi drsp: Kaplan is good for both steps,especially for step 1. It would be better to start out there(kaplan). u can check the kaplan website about medical courses, also can get USMLE materials from ebay.

What about buy materials from usmleforum.com, they have classfied, it seems that many people are willing to sell at cheap price, but i am not sure the material are complete, reliable, up to date or not.

sorry! I don't know about usmleforum.or u can try! u can check the exam experience on this website and see what materials they recommended. Choose a main book set and start to work on it over and over, make sure u really undersdant every concept....
Kaplan is a kind of summarized if u only read it without taking the lectures...but it point out everything u must remember!
I brought some materials from ebay, it's ok. but I don't know others ok or not
