I am writing this to clear doubts. First of all i would like to admit i started looking for observerships/ externship pretty late. There are a few programs that offer observership nearly free of cost or maybe 500-1000, throughout the nation BUT YOU HAVE TO APPLY EARLY. Now its simply too late to get anything before sep 2007 (free of cost). So i turned to all these organizations who can arrange for you the externships. I called imgportal they told me they will charge 6000. I nearly had a heart attack. Then i searched other programs someone who will charge less like maybe 2000...so far all that came up was websites who mention everything BUT THE COST. I wonder why......well the cost is simply too much to post. Then when i searched some more, none of them are real honest. Many websites have different names but they are run by the same companies. Many people with experience with these organization say they are cheats. Now i have three months jun-aug where if i get some USCE it can really change my chances of getting matched. If nothing happens, GODFORBID things look risky. I dont know how many of you are going thru this but i'm really scared.

Hi, A friend of mine attended many iVs last year in CA, she has GC and she told me that almost programs asked her about step 3. It is better to get high score but passed result is ok if your step 1+2 are high. I am in CA and hold GC too and now follow her instruction, plan to finish step 3 before Sep and goal is 85+. Good luck. PS: I sent lots of email to program asking for observership but received negative responses. I forgot about it.
