also to my family & friends for their great support & guidance
exam date:20th march
reporting date:11th april
score received:22th may (after a long time)
My correlations
usmle world:70%(77%tile) (99%complete)
kaplan qbook:subject wice anat 42,42/block
physio 36,39
biochem 42,43
patho 37,43,37,39,39
micro 41,45
bs 27,42
pharm 43,42
kaplan qbank:complete around 45% (75%-80%)
usmle cd:41,44,39 (before 1 wk)
kaplan simulated:84%(294/350)before 20 days
my prep materials:

goljan 500 pages (great book )
kaplan video of all subject + goljan slides/audio

besides material your exam was close to which qbank? kaplan / UW or none.
what about anatomy questions? MRIs CT scans?
did u listen 2 goljan audios?
did you try out NBMEs?
and last please dont say unexpetected your scores were already too good to get a 99. Wish you another success in step2ck

hi
i 'm gonna write step 1 in sept.i 've started doing kaplan q book did physio ,pharm but i ot only between 30-35 in each section.i really wanna get 99 ..............please advice me.how can i improve myself besids reading kaplan.how many revisions did u do?
wre u able to remmember everything u read for the exam .i'm getting tensed. .i dont happen to remember everything.

difficulty level of most questions in exam is slightly more than kaplan q book/bank but 3-6 qs/block are very hard
yes i listened goljan audio
i done anat from kaplan only & ct/mri from frist aid only

i had done 3-4 readings of kaplan notes & goljan
for pharmac
read kaplan notes carefully esp. mech of action & ADRs
no need to use lengthy books
after 2nd or 3rd reading u can able to memorize every points of kaplan
dont get panic about score but analyse why those qs are wrong
1)if u know the content but misinterprate qs -------- concentrate while doing qs
2)if u read but forgot --------- revise whole topic
3)if u see it first -------- read & note them
for physio
kaplan is more than enough
try to understand basics & do all graphs very well
do qs given in kaplan notes & also read explanations atleast of wrong qs

its easy i got 30-35 confidantly right
lots of qs of immuno
2nd & 3rd
also easy( 30-35/block) lots of behaviour sci. (esp. doc-patient )
4th & 5th
very tougth
i got only 25-30/block right confidently
6th & 7th
very easy
i have to marked hardly 6-7 qs/block
1 EKG
2-4 ct/mri
1-2 angiograph
1 venograph
lots of other figuers & specimen
