an elderly patient diagnosed with compression fracture what is the treatment of choice how do u make diagnosis clinical xray or mri?

steroids 1st to limit any further damage
then decompress the spine if there ar any neurological/Urinary prbs present
i.e cauda equina)
X ray initially but MRI is preffered and Diagostic

any corrections welcome

well it was a question in usmle world that women presented with compression fracture and she has no neurological signs but they asked diagnosis and didnt gave managment in answer so thats why i asked managment but i read that is coservative with bisphsphonate to treat osteopororsis and stop steroids....if usingsmiling face any other info welcomed

yes ur definetly gonna have to post the case with answer choices so we can get a better idea of what it entails.
