Hello Doctors, There is a new immigration bill being debated in the US Senate this week. If the bill passes the Senate and becomes the law, NO ONE WILL GET THE H1B VISA FOR RESIDENCY See Section 425 from the following document. http://immigrationvoice.org/media/forums/S1348_Dr... Please become a member of immigrationvoice.org and oppose this bill. Thanks.

Seems like, IMGs will only land up with J1's according to this paper if this immigration bill gets through.....Anybody has any more opinions?

The law wasnt passed yet. Even if it does, should be applied before july 2008. At least, this is how i could interprete it. and plus check this out. Talking about waiver for J1. http://opencrs.cdt.org/rpts/RS22584_20070126.pdf

There will be more J1s and J1 Waiver jobs even if they shut down H1-B.
