hi..i have just finished my step 1 , waiting for scores. can someone plz tell me how much prep time i require for ck ? and what books r good......(this is a question for big shots here who have scored above 90 in their ck....) plz plz plz do guide.

Hi pearl20, I guess there is no universal answer. I've studied for 5 weeks, 5 hours/day on average, using exclusively FA and UW and had good results (241/97). I graduated 6 years ago, but I am a radiologist so I am kind of familiar with all organs and systems (it helped me a lot). But I am pretty sure that with hard work, this amount of time is enough, as well as the sources abovementioned.

No one can answer this but only you... go thru exam score thread & evaluate btwn scores & time studied ... it varies so much.. give exam only when you are comfortable. I did it in 3.5 mnths
