Well 400ml is not going to decrease Sodium delivery to Macula Densa although a Heightened Reaction of Sym Discharge on the Kidneys can result in such Renin Levels.

I am sure its B. The blood loss is not much but significant enough to stimulate the carotid sinus and increase sympathetic activity which also stimulates the release of Renin.

yes its acute blood loss and b fits well where option e will atke long course and i wonder if its related to any underlying disease /condition of the patient??

But Guyz .. dont you think .. its E) I wrote B) first .. then thought on it .. and changed it to E) ... Macula Densa cells SECRETE RENIN ... and that too IN RESPONSE to Na levels in the Distal tubules .. where they are located.. !!!

Macula Densa is the part of the JG apparatus which is also innervated by Sympathetics

its B dear, reason, increase delivery of Na+ Cl- to macula densa can be because of two conditions, either decrease absorption [also diuretics] or increased GFR, as none of these are involved here therefore we can generalize that blood loss would be last thing to cause increase sodium chloride delivery to macula densa.

yea i know buddy .. BUT for a while i thought .. Blood loss... Na conc in blood should go a lil low than normal .. so M.Densa cells would detect it .. and sectere Renin ... BUT guess thatt'll take time .. Sympathetic stimulation in Emergency setting is a better option .. !!
