hey doclaire isn't the other way around in refernce to normal valves morphology/or not Staph A -- Seeds Normal Valves Strep Viridians -- Seeds Damaged Valves

S. Viridans is the MCC overall IE S. Aureus is the MCC in IV drug Abusers S. Epidermidis is the MCC in Prosthetic Devices S, Bovis is the MCC in UC or Colorectal Cancer

what about native vs damaged Valves?

I looked this up again n this is what i have S. Viridians - MCC of IE overall (senn in 60% of Cases) & MC of Damaged Valves S. Epidermis - MCC IE of Prostehtic Valves (If it is the causes it happens < 2 months after Prostehtic Valves have been placed, if > 2 months have pasted since the surgery than it is more likely to be S Viridians) Staph - MCC if IE in IV Drug Abusers (Primarily Tric Valve) & also Rresponisble for seeding Normal Valves (in 20% of cases) S Bovis - already mentioned (n don't forget to do Coonosc if Bovis is seen b/c of risk of Colon Cancer)
